Parts Department Associate

Overview

As a Parts Assistant at Doug Henry Chevy Ford Tarboro, you will be at the forefront of the automotive industry. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and technology in state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities

As a Parts Assistant, you will be in an essential role to provide outstanding customer satisfaction to both Doug Henry internal and external client bases. As a Parts Assistant, you will be responsible for stocking and receiving all merchandise shipments, as well as packing shipping merchandise to send out.

As a Parts Assistant, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

• Actively assist customers in the resolution of any problems/ concerns, offering solutions or immediately notifying the appropriate individual(s) to ensure customer satisfaction
• Receive all merchandise shipments, reviewing for completeness and consistently noting all exceptions
• Report all stock outages or quantity discrepancies to parts manager
• Learning new product and technical information to stay proficient in automotive parts

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is high energy, driven, and has proven customer service skills. A successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management skills, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong customer service and active-listening abilities. The ideal candidate is someone with a winning attitude who sees obstacles as opportunities.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of computers; Autosoft experience, preferred
• Someone with dealership experience and parts experience preferred
• Passion to change a one time customer into a Customer for Life
