We are currently seeking a skilled Parts Counter Person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the technicians and customers with their automotive parts needs while maintaining an organized and efficient parts inventory system.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist in identifying required parts, providing accurate information, and offering alternatives when necessary
Utilize parts catalogs and computer databases to locate and procure parts efficiently
Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery or pickup
Maintain an organized and clean Parts Counter and showroom area
Collaborate with service technicians and other departments to fulfill parts requests promptly
Handle inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and product specifications
Keep abreast of new parts and products, as well as industry trends and developments
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an automotive parts role or similar position preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in using computer systems and parts catalogs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts orders and inventory management
