Parts Counter Clerk

Norman Hyundai is seeking a Parts Counter Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customers in purchasing the right parts for their vehicles.

As a Parts Clerk, you will manage inventory, fulfill orders, and provide exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive parts and a strong background in sales management. The Parts Counter Clerk will maintain inventory levels, process orders, and ensure that all parts are correctly labeled and stored.

Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory of automotive parts and accessories
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Organize and maintain stock shelves
- Fulfill customer orders promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts inquiries
- Process returns and exchanges
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions

Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or retail environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail math and inventory management principles
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in using CMMS and POS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

-Pay is salary, plus commission.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
