Parts Buyer

Pay:

Schedule: Full time, overtime available
Benefits available after 60 days!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ordering/receiving parts and supplies
• Prioritizing and expediting parts and supplies for the maintenance department
• Doing price comparisons
• Documenting parts savings
• Communicating with Department Heads and Mechanics about backordered items
• Tracking vendor work
• Keep inventory of parts available
• Oversee Preventative Maintenance scheduling
• Thinking outside the box to save money/time especially when parts are not readily available and/or obsolete
• Creating Preventative maintenance schedules
• Correctly coding and signing off on invoices
• Code invoices and return daily
• Schedule any outsource repairs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years’ experience as a Parts Buyer
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, not required)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of parts and service
• Basic knowledge of automotive and heavy yellow iron equipment (preferred)
