Pay:
Schedule: Full time, overtime available
Benefits available after 60 days!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ordering/receiving parts and supplies
- Prioritizing and expediting parts and supplies for the maintenance department
- Doing price comparisons
- Documenting parts savings
- Communicating with Department Heads and Mechanics about backordered items
- Tracking vendor work
- Keep inventory of parts available
- Oversee Preventative Maintenance scheduling
- Thinking outside the box to save money/time especially when parts are not readily available and/or obsolete
- Creating Preventative maintenance schedules
- Correctly coding and signing off on invoices
- Code invoices and return daily
- Schedule any outsource repairs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Parts Buyer
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, not required)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of parts and service
- Basic knowledge of automotive and heavy yellow iron equipment (preferred)
