Barracuda Networks is looking to add to the Sales team in the Americas to help support one of our national resellers. As a National Account Manager, your will be responsible for managing a major National Channel partner to achieve efficient and profitable sales of Barracuda’s products across various market segments. The top candidate will leverage business relationships to build and increase mind share within the account.

What you’ll be working on

• Utilizing strong relationship management skills, the top candidate will engage with all levels of their assigned account, from the Sales team to C-level management. The Account Manager’s primary objective will be to effectively market and sell the portfolio of Barracuda Networks’ products to partner middle managers, technical support, and functional teams such as sales, customer service and purchasing, with regular interfere with assigned account’s Executive staff to support mindshare. This includes but is not limited to the development and execution of sales promotions and sales incentive programs that sustains desired mindshare and sales rep commitment.

• On an ongoing basis, the National Account Manager will work closely with Barracuda’s Sales and Product Management teams to develop, implement and drive a sales and marketing strategy within the assigned account, focused on increasing sales volume in all sales verticals. The Account Manager will present training and education to product specialists and champions to help communicate value propositions to key accounts.

• Operationally, the National Account Manager will manage deal registration and sales pipeline with the account partner, aligning with Barracuda’s Sales team on customer touch. They will identify opportunities and challenges within account base and create strategies to maximize sales, profits and market share, with an end goal of achieving Channel sales and profit goals. Finally, the Account Manager will conduct and/or receive weekly reviews of sales, RMAs, returns & allowances (R&A), quotes, promotions, sell through, inventory management, turns, forecasts, replenishment orders, backorders, and any other account activities that will impact financial results for the account(s).

What you bring to the role

• A demonstrated passion for Cloud/Security and/or Storage markets.
• A demonstrated passion for Security and/or Storage markets.
• BA / BS preferred.
• 5-7 years of prior national channel sales experience in cloud, storage, IT hardware, software, or services preferred. Salesforce & PowerBI exp recommended
• Excellent business acumen, negotiation and closing skills.
• Experience in mid-market and enterprise sales & marketing.
• Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, while changing and realigning priorities.
• Proven track record of success in a transactional and project based sales environment.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel 50% of the time.
