Program: PAIP
Reports to: PAIP Program Supervisor
Schedule: Varies Days and Evenings
Classification: Full Time- Exempt
Salary Band: Advocate
SUMMARY: Facilitates PAIP (Partner Abuse Intervention Program) and Anger Management for abusers groups and completes paperwork as needed according to the Illinois Protocol for Abuser Intervention Programs. This is a full-time position that reports to the PAIP Program Manager. This position also is responsible for marketing the programs to encourage enrollment.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct and indirect client services.
1. Co-Facilitate PAIP programs.
2. Provide presentations to participants as it relates to Intimate Partner Violence.
3. Conduct individual assessments of clients referred to the programs.
4. Build working relationships with referral sources including but not limited to Probation officers.
5. Assist Program Manager in the development of PAIP curriculum.
6. Assist Program Manager with client documentation and paperwork weekly including court reports and billing as needed.
Networking and referral sources
1. Provide accurate, consistent and caring referral services to clients and maintain accurate knowledge of local social service agencies and available resources.
2. Support Manager in developing a working relationship with referral sources in an effort to raise the awareness of the PAIP Program and to increase the referrals.
3. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Social Services, Counseling or Related Field, Valid Drivers License
Experience Required:
- 1-3 years experience working with persons in crisis
- Experience working with DV Victims
- Experience facilitating groups (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong Project Management and personal workflow skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Bilingual, Spanish speaking and writing (a plus)
