Participatory Research and Evaluation Associate I


$23.32 per hour

Regular, Part-Time; scheduled to work 30 – 39 hours/week


The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) mission is to inspire curiosity through engaging science learning experiences, foster experimentation and the exchange of ideas, and stimulate informed action. Join our team as the Participatory Research and Evaluation Associate I and be a part of igniting an education transformation at the intersection of science and technology that spreads opportunities across the Northwest!


The Participatory Research and Evaluation Associate I provides assistance to evaluation and research activities. Activities may include proposal writing, literature reviews, study design, data collection, data entry, data analysis, and report writing to support exhibit, program, and organizational development.

This position utilizes skills related to staff coordination, and social science Research and Evaluation methods and requires a concern for research quality and ethics and a commitment to inclusion and accessibility. This position supports the Engagement Research and Advancement division and OMSI overall in developing and implementing practices that prioritize community engagement and collective inquiry in the planning and administration of educational Research and Evaluation.


Position is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:
