Provide and distribute general college information, college procedures and policies, events etc. to students, staff, and general public in person, on the telephone and by mail and email.
Support Students with computer/testing lab functions
Perform other duties as assigned
Two years of general office experience, which included or was supplemented by significant public contact and telephone work.(Postsecondary education may substitute for up to 1 year required experience with 15 semester hours equivalent to 6 months of experience.)
Experience providing exemplary customer service to clients in a stressful and fast paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time and the commitment to follow through.
Excellent problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming form different background.
Knowledge of current software applications.
Experience in a post secondary educational institution, particularly in financial aid. student accounts, admissions, or student affairs.
Demonstrated advocacy for students/clients and their needs.
Ability to speak a language other than English.
