Part-Time Telehealth Facilitator

Position Title: Medical Aid for Telehealth [Part-Time Only]

We are a growing medical practice in Greater Portland. Our group of medical providers offers care to patients in Skilled Nursing and Physical Rehabilitation Centers all throughout Oregon. We have been continuously growing over the past 10 years and our group is currently forty (40) strong consisting of medical providers (MD’s PA’s and NP’s) along with our administrative staff. We are currently looking for a self-starter who will be an integral member of our team. If you are interested in gaining healthcare experience and are looking for flexible work hours, Ascent might be for you. This is a part-time position, suitable for individuals wanting to work 1-3 days per week (3-5 hours/shift).

Position Responsibilities:

• Locates and insures patients are available in their residence for their medical exam
• Assists by setting up Telehealth visits between our remote practitioners and the patients at the facility
• Assists with prescription refills and other patient administration as required by provider
• Will work on other projects as required

Position Qualifications & Skills:

• 1 -2 years experience in a medical office environment
• Must be familiar with basic computer functions
• Technical and analytical skill set
• Must be adaptable and able to multitask
• Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills
• Solid technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
• High school degree.

This position is part-time and ideal for individuals interested in healthcare. All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug testing, a Background Check and must have a valid driver’s license/personal transportation to attend off site meetings when necessary.

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
