Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities
- Provide support to students
- Help maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Support students in their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, organizing the classroom, and supervising students during transitions
- Helping kids go potty, diapering, etc.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide appropriate support
Skills:
- Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Understanding of child development principles and milestones
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children
-Ability to connect with children as young as infants up to school age.
-Being comfortable with babies, toddlers and pre-k age children.
