Witten Financial Services, LLC is a growing financial/accounting firm seeking a Part-Time Tax Accountant. We are pursuing a candidate to provide support to our tax division as we continue to expand our client base. Serious inquiries only. Responsibilities:
- Tax consulting and client engagement
- Reviewing data input and reviewing tax returns
- Tax return preparation duties to include Individuals, S Corporations, Partnerships, and Trusts
- Research and tax planning as needed
- Preparation of supporting digital work papers
- Analyze and help to prepare estimated payments and extensions
- Responding to inquiries with the IRS and other tax authorities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA certification preferred (not required with experience)
- Experience working with a CPA/Public accounting firm
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task
- Flexible/adaptable to changing priorities and work environment
- Take initiative and actively participate in continuous improvement and streamlining processes
- Punctual and dependable
- Maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of Drake Software a plus
Job Details:
- Part-time - 20hrs a week
