```Duties```
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions about the menu
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks to customers
- Monitor tables and promptly address any customer needs or requests
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary terms, menu items, and beverage offerings is a plus
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a bonus
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, kitchen staff, and management
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift trays of food or drinks as needed
