Overview: Role

As Operations Clerk you will manage the daily control process on retreat. The process includes: invoicing, inventory auditing, submissions to accounts payable, and cash handling . The Overnight Auditor will also assist with front office overnight coordination and receiving phone calls and emails from current and future guests and assist with any overnight guest related issues.

Ideally, you have strong experience in accounting control and have been either a front office manager or night auditor in the past. You are self-driven and an excellent communicator with the ability to work across multiple departments and develop strong relationships. You have a passion for the outdoors and creating an environment of hospitality and generosity in every interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifying packing slips, receivables and invoices are aligned
  • Ensuring inputs in Reactor net are correct at property level
  • Gathering all invoices from Dept Heads and inputting them on the spreadsheet ready for batching
  • Batching and submission to AP
  • Communicating efficiently
  • Receiving cash and ensuring safely stored for the General Manager
  • Punching in correctly everyday
  • Being on retreat
  • Helping at the Front Desk (phone calls/ driving)
  • Assisting with breakfast box setup
  • Assist with any guest opportunities during shift and ensure timely follow up

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in similar position
  • Strong knowledge of accounting protocols and inventory management
  • Some past experience as a night auditor of front office management
  • Willingness to learn, be open to change, and develop new skills
  • Prior experience in managing guest experiences at upscale locations

Requirements for Employment:

  • Fluent in English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Must be available to work variable shifts on both weekdays and weekends
  • Must be willing to work in an outdoor setting, including all-weather conditions (rain, wind, heat, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of team members in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by Ranch management. .
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
