Small home and garden shop in Coronado seeking part-Time Sales Associate.

We believe in providing a positive experience for every person that comes through our door. The store carries a wide variety of home and garden items – including handmade products from both local artists and artists throughout the United States. This is not a seasonal position. Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to all who come into the store
• Accurate and efficient cash handling
• Active selling – including learning important features of merchandise
• Restocking merchandise as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
• Light cleaning

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of related retail experience
• Excellent cash handling skills
• Must be friendly and energetic and enjoy interacting with people

Schedule is typically fixed, with the ability to trade shifts as needed. At least one weekend shift is required and holiday shifts as scheduled.

Store hours: 11 AM -5 PM Sunday, 10AM -6 PM Monday – Saturday - May stay open until 7 during summer season.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Compensation package:

• Commission pay

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• No travel
