Part Time Rvt Or Veterinary Assistant

Reidsville Veterinary Hospital is searching for a Registered Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Vet Assistant for flexible, part-time coverage during day-time, General Practice hours.

To uphold our positive hospital culture and ensure new hires mesh nicely with our close-knit team, we’re looking for technicians who prioritize teamwork, are easygoing and detail-oriented, and have a well-rounded technical skill set.

This role will primarily be responsible for assisting our doctors Mon - Fri during 1st or 2nd shift. We are also looking for someone with the flexibility to cover a shift if someone calls in. *There is a $2 shift differential for working 2nd or 3rd shift.*

• Anesthesia induction and monitoring
• Vaccine and medication administration
• Blood draws and IVC placement
• Pharmacy duties, lab work, and drug calculations
• Microscopic evaluation
• Outpatient procedures
• Client communication and education
• Assisting throughout the hospital as needed (front desk, kennels, cleaning, etc.)
• Willing to learn canine reproduction is a plus!
