Veterinary Assistant

An experienced Veterinary Assistant (VA) needed for newly renovated, progressive, multi-doctor, mixed animal general practice in Eastern North Carolina.

Our practice emphasizes relationships, community involvement, communication, and client education in collaboration with superior medical, and surgical services. Appointment schedule allows ample time for diagnostics, discussion, and client education. We constantly strive to improve our services to our community and are always open to new, innovative ideas and change. We enjoy working with the local humane society and police department to offer services to pets looking for their forever homes and our local working canine officers.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Four experienced doctors and a trained staff are available and happy to mentor. The ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, lift more than 30 pounds, have a positive attitude, a sense of humor (this is a MUST :)), and good communication skills are required. Experience with animals is preferred. CVA certification is a plus!
