We highly value a work-life balance and impart amusement wherever possible:
~ We have also adjusted our hours over the years to fully support a schedule conducive to this thought process of balance, not overwhelming, and being able to maintain for the long haul. We have shorter hours than most practices: Monday - Thursday, 8-4, Friday, 8-12, and only two Saturdays a month from 8-12.
~ We are open to referring to local urgent care or emergency facilities to maintain a reasonable caseload and not be subject to staff burnout.
~Several work-family members have earned up to 3-4 weeks of vacation based on performance and 5-10+ years of tenure.
~We attempt to maintain a calm atmosphere by not offering boarding or grooming services, nor do we accept emergency patients who cannot readily fit within our schedule.
~If clients are more than 10 minutes late, we either change their appointment to a drop-off or reschedule their pet to manage the practice's overall productive flow and schedule.
~You will find design elements that create a feeling of calm and well-being for staff and clients to appreciate. Most clients say our hospital doesn't look, sound, or smell like a veterinary clinic, yet it's more like a spa environment.
~We joke around as much as possible as it lightens up work-family members, and the clients feel our cheerful ambiance. Our goal is to be as drama-free as possible.
~Our telephone on-hold entertainment is pet jokes submitted by our clients throughout the years. We have over 90 minutes of jokes. Sometimes, our clients call so we can put them on hold because they need a good laugh to brighten their day.
Our work family is a cohesive, talented, and skilled group. We are looking for a candidate who easily fits into our joking, cheerful, and light-hearted culture yet has the chops and skill set required of an adept and progressive hospital.
If you are looking for something different and unique in a veterinary hospital, you owe it to yourself to check us out. Please refer to our website at MixedPet or check out our company page on Indeed for more insight into our fun culture and team dynamics.
