Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to the President/CEO such as managing calendar, responding to messages (email and voicemail), booking, and coordinating travel, proofreading documents and other correspondence, submitting expenses, performing research as requested, etc.
· Coordinate President/CEO’s participation in external events including registering for events, purchasing tickets, journal ads, etc.
· Update National Urban League Affiliate Compliance System (ACS), Census Portals, Grant Compliance platforms and tracking documents.
· Schedule quarterly in-person and virtual meetings as well as manage coordination (i.e. lunch, room prep, etc.).
· Prepare materials for the board, including presentations, reports, spreadsheets, documents, etc.
· Manage, reply, and track delegate emails from the info@ulec.org email account.
· Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience assisting an executive.
· Finds value in nurturing the relationship with the executive while being a proactive thinker and not just a task doer.
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams), Zoom, and Google Suite.
· Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Must be available for some in-office hours.
· Passion for social justice and racial equality.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
