Part- Time Porter -- Multifamily Property -- Montgomery Park

Altman Management Company, a well-established regional property management company, is seeking a talented, reliable Part-time Porter for our multi-family apartment communities located in Norristown, PA.

Job Type: Full-time

I. Responsibilities:

♦ Responsible for the care and maintenance of all grounds in and around the community, as well as assisting with make ready units.

♦ Directly responsible to the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

♦ Assist maintenance staff when grounds work is completed, or upon manager's request.

♦ Any reasonable request made by manager, maintenance supervisor or owner.

♦ Report to manager all damages to grounds by children, pets, and acts of nature.

♦ Clean out vacant apartments and assist in making ready for move-ins.

♦ Interior cleaning of office, hallways, elevator areas, trash rooms, etc.

♦ Sweeping all common areas, parking areas, walks, and tennis courts as needed.

♦ Maintain all lawn equipment and keep storage area of such equipment in a neat and orderly condition, eliminate fire hazards and/or potential fire hazards.

♦ Maintain lawn and bed areas, as needed or in assistance with contractor.

♦ Removal of all fallen debris, and trash debris on property and sweep dumpster enclosures.

♦ Monitor and remove graffiti on interior and exterior surfaces.

♦ Repaint parking spaces and speed bumps, as necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have proficient knowledge of English (read, write, and speak).

Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, walk, climb stairs and ladders, shovel snow, push snow blower and spread ice melt when needed.

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
