Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist (PTA) at our beautiful retirement communities Southern Pines Senior Living and Legacy Village at Plantation Manor located in Thomasville, GA.

What You'll Do:
- Work alongside a great team of therapists in a low-stress environment.
- Evaluate, treat, and build meaningful relationships with patients.
- Treat residents one on one, giving each patient individualized attention.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Be innovative in treatment planning and execution.
- Seek to learn.
- Identify residents in need of our services.
- Use the dedicated gym space as well as other private and common areas in the finely-appointed facility.
- Implement and model a function-based treatment approach.
- Conduct or participate in educational talks, social activities, and wellness programming.
- Learn valuable skills in varied clinical focus areas and apply them to your practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively uses basic communication skills of listening, questioning, verifying, and explaining.
- Creates rapport and positive working relationship with key facility personnel and fellow LHS employees that allows for discovering others’ needs.
- Meets with customers regularly to share information and relay Legacy’s offerings in the community.
- Seeks advice from Legacy management to respond appropriately and timely to inquiries for assistance from facility personnel and Legacy employees.
- Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics in accordance with Legacy policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Clinical background as a PTA with an appropriate degree in the field.
- Preferred experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Rehab Agency, home healthcare, or outpatient setting.
- Must have comfort with learning new computer skills.
- An active Georgia license.
