We seek an energetic and collaborative Remote Part-time Payroll Assistant to join our team immediately. This temporary part-time position, requiring 10 hours per week, is for our sister clinic, RCN. The ideal candidate will be involved in payroll support via Paychex; however, as time permits, the candidate will learn other functions. You will process and transmit weekly payroll through Paychex within time deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Work a minimum of 10 hours Monday through Friday per week, with the ability to increase hours based on business needs.
- Process and transmit bi-weekly payroll within time deadlines.
- Process payroll adjustments, mileage/drive time adjustments, and miscellaneous adjustments/deductions.
- Communicate effectively with team members to promptly address payroll inquiries or issues.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll-related information.

Education, Training, and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of payroll experience is required
- Working knowledge and experience working with Paychex payroll software is a must

- Effective verbal and written communication skills with patients, physicians, management, employees, and the public.
- Excellent Organizational skills, multi-task, and logical thinking?.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software.
- Ability to be proactive, take initiative, and perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.?

Typical Physical and Working Demands
Position requires prolonged walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is required. Employees must have a standard hearing range and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Employees must have a standard hearing range and eyesight to record and prepare paper and MDI chart notes and documents. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
