The eCommerce Fulfillment Team Member, through an enthusiasm for the sports and outdoors business, is responsible for a premier customer experience in our curbside and in store pick up areas. This position provides products and solutions to a diverse customer base. Through this important work, the Fulfillment Team Member impacts customer satisfaction, store profitability, and Academy’s Purpose.
Job Description
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Work Experiences:
- Previous related work experience preferred
Skills:
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Effective problem solving and communication with customers and team members
- Proficiently use equipment such as basic hand tools, receiving and cleaning equipment
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, plan-o-grams and procedure manuals
- Perform basic mathematical computations and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all pick, pack, and ship functions within the store in order to deliver efficient and exciting experience for customers.
- Pick items for customers accurately and quickly in order to meet service and required time standards
- Properly prepare and pack customer orders for pick up and/or shipment to meet the required time standards
- Service customers with in store pick up process and curbside order process
- Maintain order queue
- Troubleshoot orders to ensure picks are accurate, free of damage, and escalate inaccuracies or out of stock if needed
- Work cancellation reports and move cancelled product back to sales floor
- Enthusiastically delivers a premium customer experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of packing area and equipment
- Drive sales through exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques and product knowledge to connect customers with the right products.
- Required to learn and follow company policies, procedures and safety rules.
- Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
- Duties may change and team members may be required to perform other duties or roles as assigned.
Physical Requirements & Attendance
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Constantly stand, walk, reach, handle, use repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers), feel and lift up to 20 pounds
- Frequently stoop, crouch, use fingers, grasp, push, pull, talk, hear and lift up to 21 to 40 pounds
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance and lift 41 to 60 pounds

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
