HALTER (H*ealing And Learning Through Equine R*elationships) is dedicated to improving the lives of children with challenges through equine assisted services, education, and research.
HALTER is seeking a part-time nonprofit bookkeeper to be a strategic thought-partner who will support the day-to day operations, provide financial reports, enter data into Quickbooks online and our CRM system. The team member will play a critical role in working with the executive director and board treasurer as HALTER continues to provide life enhancing services. Please note that in order for an application to be considered, the skills tests must be completed.
Responsibilities:
- Create, analyze, and present financial reports
- Use ADP for all payables and receivables
- Enter data into Quickbooks online and our CRM system
- Lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the executive director; monitor progress and changes and keep the executive director, treasurer and board of directors updated on the organization’s financial status.
- Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
- Other accounting duties
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
