What We Need:
We're seeking a skilled News Editor
What You'll Do:

• Gather, write, edit and prepare content for KFI news anchors
• Cover local/regional and national news stories
• Post information onto websites
• General newsroom responsibilities

What You'll Need:

• One year of news/journalism experience
• Full proficiency with station's computer editing systems or ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent writing and editing ability; excellent grammar
• Strong time management skills; adept at setting priorities and managing deadlines
• Ability to plan and organize, manage projects and multi task in a fast-paced environment
• Stress tolerance, especially with tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; media, communications, or journalism or equivalent work experience

• Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision
• Problem solving skills within established procedures

Compensation:
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
