Valnet Inc. is looking for an NFL News & Features Editor for the website GIVEMESPORT.COM.
GIVEMESPORT is one of the world’s largest independent sports media publishers. It covers news, features, and interviews across a broad range of sports, from football and MMA to the NFL and NBA, catering its content to a global audience of more than 30 million fans each and every month.

Our team of dedicated writers and contributors is committed to providing insightful commentary, thought-provoking analysis, and in-depth features that go beyond the surface of the game. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a casual observer, we cater to all levels of sports interest, making sure there's something for everyone.
Responsibilities

• Contributing to the creation pipeline for NFL editorial content (news and features) by writing and editing articles on a daily basis
• Fielding and generating compelling ideas from and for the writing team
• Providing feedback to writers 
• Ensuring deadlines are met by you and the team
• Enforcing article guidelines in accordance with SEO best practices and our style guide
• Collaborating with the Leads to ensure stable operation and achievement of targets
   

Applicants must possess the following requirements

• Must reside in the US or Canada
• In-depth knowledge and deep passion for the NFL 
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Previous experience writing and editing for a sports publication
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices
• Hard-working, results-driven, and able to react quickly
• Experience managing and/or commissioning content (a plus)
• Keen eye for spotting trending stories and how to market them across various social media platforms (a plus)
• Video and/or image editing skills (a plus)
