We are seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Triage Team at the Providence Plaza Medical Center campus in NE Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. This position is primarily phone work. But there will be the opportunity to assist with in office surgical procedures, patient visits and education, and be part of our workflow improvement team as we strive to provide the best patient care. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior nurse experience. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have prior triage experience, strong at multi-tasking and dedicated to high quality patient care. Previous OBGYN experience is a plus!
Workdays will be Monday-Friday, possible 5-hour days or two 10 hours days. No weekends!
Starting pay range, based on experience: $26.36 - $35.66.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 50% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for part-time employees.
Requirements:
Current Oregon State LPN license
Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse
Prior experience with Centricity a plus.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and office staff, patients and their families.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
