Part-Time Insurance And Risk Specialist

The Garrett Companies is seeking an Insurance and Risk Specialist to join their team! We are a full-service Multifamily Development, and Asset Management team with office in Denver, Indianapolis, and Greenwood. Our team of experts work in unison to entitle, develop, and build multifamily projects across the country.

Insurance Team needs:

-Review all current Builders Risk Policies

-Review Permanent Insurance Policies

-Apex Lumber Insurance review in full compacity

-BHF Vendors COI with additional insureds added and tracked

-Blue Star vendor COI collection plus additional insureds tracking

-MMA PO and terminated Vendor audit (Garrett)

-non-owned off site storage coverage policy review

-Procore COI report for our warranty department

-Garrett Construction COI revamp without exemptions, promote to team(s) and communicate back to MMA

-Pre-Qualification process for BHF and BSM to be execute and caught up on back work

Job Description and Experience needed:

This individual should have a commercial / construction Insurance background. Licensing is not necessary because they will not be selling Insurance. Underwriting experience would be a bonus. They must be organized and up to speed on IDOI Rules and Regulations and out of state policy requirements as it pertains to Multi-Family or Builders.
