General Summary
This is a part-time position working Friday and Saturday 3pm-11pm
The House Manager oversees the operations and the daily management of residents living in a sober and supportive residential setting that is part of a comprehensive treatment program at Concerted Care Group (CCG) - Brooklyn, Maryland. The Lead House Managers supervises the House Management Staff as is responsible for assuring that the facility is appropriately staffed, is operational, has needed supplies and maintains a clean and safe environment. The Lead House Manager works directly under the supervision of the Lead IOP Counselor and is part of a team of counselors, therapists, nurses and medical practitioners that provide integrated care within a comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Program.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- The House Manager serves as a liaison between the IOP House and the IOP treatment program at the Brooklyn Center assuring that there is regular and consistent communication between staffs and that clients referred to the house have a smooth and efficient transition.
- Coordinates the referral process of clients entering the house facilitating the assignment of rooms, the client's orientation to the house, communicating rules and responsibilities and monitoring the patient's progress.
- Supervises the House Management staff which includes monitoring performance, scheduling work hours, managing leave request and coverage, managing payroll submission and conducting evaluations as scheduled.
- Coordinates the transportation of clients to the Brooklyn Center, medical appointments, community support groups and social and community resources
- Coordinates the house's daily activities - developing programming and special events and maintains a calendar of events and activities (including the scheduling and assignment of chores for residents and staff)
- Is responsible for the provision of Peer Recovery Support Services at the house.
- Coordinates the regular scheduling of house meetings
- Attends IOP Planning Meetings and Monthly Staff Meeting as requested.
- Manages the procurement of supplies and equipment needed for the safe and efficient operation of the house
- Responsible for communicating needed repairs, maintenance and general up keep of the house and the assigned vehicle
- Is responsible for the flow of communication (including written documentation when required) of all issues, events and situations that occur between the Lead and the House Managers to the Lead IOP Counselor during supervision meetings and whenever pertinent
- Assures that there is adequate monitoring of residents, oversight of issues and adherence to policies related to all residents and their status levels.
- Manages and assigns duties to the Peer House Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements
- Completion of the a State approved Peer Recovery program
- Peer Recovery Specialist certification
- Valid driver's license with less than 3 points
- 1 year experience as a House Manager
