Part Time Front Desk/Office Manager

Job Description

Nature of Skin Dermatology is seeking a part-time Front Desk/Office Manger with opportunity to grow into full-time. We are looking for a team-oriented, sales-savvy, multitasker to join our close knit team. We are a full service dermatology practice that provides medical, cosmetic, surgical, and integrative dermatology services to the Austin Community. Our ideal match would be a professional, result-driven front office staff member with insurance and front desk procedures knowledge. This team member will take on some sales responsibilities and a background in retail and procedure sales in dermatology or plastic surgery is preferred. Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Front Desk
• Insurance
• Cosmetic, dermatology or plastic surgery sales experience

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answering patient’s inquiries on account status and charges
• Answering patient’s questions on patient responsibility portions, co-pay, deductible, co-insurance, out of pocket etc.
• Resolving patient complaints or explaining why certain services are not covered
• Follows HIPAA guidelines in handling patient information
• Maintains confidential information
• Understands referral authorizations and limits of coverage, such as number of visits
• Sales, tracking and pricing of cosmetic procedures

Additional Requirements:

• Scheduling patients
• Exercises good judgement and discretion
• Proficient in use of computers and common office equipment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good telephone and patient relation skills
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work
• Good team player, no job is too small

Job Type: Part Time with opportunity to grow into full time

Expected hours: 16-24 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• No nights
• No weekends
