SalaryThe Clarion Inn Elmira Horseheads is looking for a part-time Night Auditor (preferrable Sunday and Monday nights) to join our growing Front Office team! This position could include some evening and or/day shifts for the right candidate, if interested.
Our Front Desk serves as the first point of contact with guests and handles all stages of a guest’s stay. In this position, you may take reservations, check guests in/out of rooms, direct calls, and answer all guests’ questions and concerns. You will also run reports and complete paperwork to summarize the daily business. You must be personable, highly motivated and have outstanding communication skills. The right candidate will work easily in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an optimistic, energetic attitude to make a difference in each guest’s day. You must be an independent worker and be able to work on your own, with limited supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:
*Completes the Hotel’s daily audit process. This includes, but is not limited to, balancing the day’s transactions, running nightly reporting, and rolling the day.
*Keeps accurate counts and balances of the day’s credit card and cash payments.
*Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to; room type categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and local area and other general product knowledge along with answering guest questions and inquires.
*Count cash drawers, manage inventory levels, and maintain department equipment and supplies.
*Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
*Prior Hotel experience is a plus but not a requirement.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
