Flight Follower duties and responsibilities
About the position:
The on-duty flight follower will, in addition to fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of company and Federal regulations, coordinate the minute-to-minute daily operation of Revv Aviation flight operations; manage the flow of aircraft and crews in company operations, and serve as the focal point for all communication, information and decisions affecting that flow. The on-duty flight follower will participate in decision-making responsibility during operation irregularities, after input from appropriate Flight, Maintenance and/or passenger service personnel.

- is familiar with federal regulations relating to the flow of aircraft and flight crews
- is familiar with Systems Operations Control (SOC)
- has excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- has the ability to read, write and speak English effectively
- is professional in appearance and manner
- is proficient with standard computer operations such as Word and Excel
- has prior airline or airport experience
- is detail-oriented and works well within a team
- has evidence of good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- is able to multi-task effectively

General duties include:*
- Overseeing the safe operation of the daily company flight schedule
- Acting as the center of communication for pilots, station operations agents, maintenance personnel and flight management personnel, with access to all information integral to the operation
- Monitoring and ensuring the accuracy of FLIFO with out and off times
- Providing operational data and reports to other personnel as necessary
- Coordinating with Operations and Maintenance to ensure the aircraft status will permit the intended operation to be conducted safely and in accordance with applicable Minimum Equipment List/Configuration Deviation List items (MEL/CDL) limitations/ restrictions at the scheduled departure time
- Working with a "Team Approach" to help cover when a higher than expected workload is encountered due to weather, delays, mechanical irregularities or other disruptions.
- Assisting other members of the team with communications, coordination and other duties in order to make unexpected workload situations more manageable
Requirements for the position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid FAA Dispatcher License
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Computer skills ability to learn reservation and other related systems
- Ability to work within a 24/7 operation including holidays
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1986

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
