Job Description
Kaiyo is an online marketplace committed to great design, exceptional customer care, and a more sustainable planet. We take the uptight and out-of-reach out of interior design by making it easy to buy & sell quality secondhand furniture. Forget about dealing with strangers, renting cars, five flights of stairs, impossible doorways, and hours of assembly. Our team handles all the hassle, so you don't have to.
Our company has entered a hyper-growth phase, serving the New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles metro areas, with plans for continued expansion. Our team is experienced — we’ve scaled companies and seen successful exits. Our customers are passionate; we receive stellar reviews and have a world-class NPS score. We’ve been featured in top-tier publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Washington Post, and Vogue. We are funded by Edison Partners, Moderne Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, Correlation Ventures, and Max Ventures.
Do you want to pick your schedule and work in 5 hour increments? This opportunity would mainly be for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, however, business needs might allow for hours to be picked up during the week. The minimum requirement would be 5 hours a week to maintain working status, but you could also work up to 20 hours if the hours are available. You would be part of our flexible workforce team and play a key role in helping us meet our customer needs.
How it WorksThe leadership team will reach out via email to those who are part of the flexible workforce to notify you what hours and what shifts are available to choose from for a given day. Those who respond prior to the shifts being filled will be scheduled to work. A confirmation of your shift will be sent and you are scheduled. Simple as that!
What’s the catch? Once you are confirmed on the schedule it is your responsibility to ensure you are on time for the shift and are ready to work. We are counting on you to help our success and missing the time you signed up to work will remove you from this opportunity of flexible work.
