The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University is seeking an individual to teach TRF 510 Hollywood - Navigating the Future on Mondays, 6pm-9pm in the Summer 2024 semester (1 credit).
Course Description: In this course, students will study the ever-evolving business of the Hollywood entertainment industry and explore how these changes affect creative output.
Using data driven research and analytics, students will explore trends in media and how changing business models and advances in technology will impact the entertainment world they will enter when they graduate. Topics tackled will include film and television, music, streaming, gaming and Generative AI.
Course Dates: July 8, 2024 - August 5, 2024
Classes will be held at the Syracuse University Dick Clark Center, 5250 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601.
