Part-Time Event Planner

TekPro Support Services, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Event Planner to support the Department of Energy Office of Indian Energy (OIE) in providing a written Stakeholder Engagement Meeting Plan to conduct and make arrangements for meetings, webinars, and other events with stakeholders. The written plan should include all necessary arrangements for conferences, seminars, and events and include all aspects of the services listed below.
Plan, execute, manage, and close-out small and large meetings.
Support for four (4) Tribal Leader Forums and four (4) Indian Country Energy and Infrastructure Working Group meetings.
Coordinate/host and provide automation and telecommunications to support weekly/monthly stakeholder teleconferences by sending out meeting notices, recording action items, and sending follow-up items to stakeholders. Services also include the following components:

• Coordination and Implementation of third-party participation
• Outreach to speakers
• Invitations and confirmation of speakers
• Liaison Support
• Facility Reservations
• Contract negotiations if stakeholders or partners do not provide the facility.
• Coordinate IT and Audio-Visual needs
• On-site Meeting and Registration Support
• Communication with Attendees
• Post-meeting Support
• Participant- attendance
• Track/Complete Meeting Action Items, as applicable
• Provide Meeting Evaluations to participants- if training
• Analyze Results
• Provide Suggestions and Recommendations

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in event management and planning.
Location: National Capital Region
