Part Time Equipment Operator $19.16/Hr (Extra $1.50/Hr)

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The position is essential to the agency in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds, streets, drives, sidewalks etc. The incumbent mows lawns, trims trees and foliage, applies herbicides, operates snow removal equipment, applies de-icer and sand- salt mix during inclement conditions in the winter. They may also participate in remodeling projects as a team member performing demolition and building construction tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Basic knowledge operating and maintaining general lawn and garden equipment
-Must be able to work in excessive heat and cold weather, and lift and carry objects that weigh in excess of 50 lb.
-Must pass a criminal background check
-Six months of experience working in landscape maintenance
-Valid State of Kansas driver's license
