- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, lift overhead, carry, and walk about. Most lifting is less than 10 pounds, generally less than 20, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as hand-held scanners pricing guns, box cutters, heat gun, merchandise containers, carts, two-wheel dollies, etc.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position at all times.
Regular Tasks/Responsibilities:
Executing Outgoing Orders:
- Print labels and invoices for outgoing orders.
- Pick sold inventory from storage locations in the warehouse using the handheld device.
- Match products to invoices/labels and pack orders.
- Drop orders off at USPS/FedEx/UPS for shipping.
- Retrieve shipping bins from USPS and return them to the warehouse.
Process Incoming Inventory:
- Retrieve packages from front desk and storage area, and receivie shipments delivered directly to the warehouse.
- Unpack incoming boxes, breakdown boxes and handle packing material.
- Organize incoming inventory.
- Cleaning, de-labeling, labeling, separating and prepping incoming inventory.
- Check inventory into inventory management system using a computer.
- Stow inventory in the appropriate bin/shelf for storage.
General:
- Processing returns.
- Taking trash and boxes to dumpsters.
- Straightening and cleaning the warehouse.
- Organizing stowed inventory.
- Completing regular inventory counts throughout the year (counting and verifying existing inventory).
- Dropping off donations.
- Other duties, as assigned.
