Part-Time Dinner Server At Scrap Kitchen

$23/hr + 60% FOH pooled tips (usual hourly pay is $25-$30/hr including tips)

Part-Time (25-30/week)

We are a small independent restaurant with a focus on providing our guests with a unique and delicious dining experience, while reducing food waste and improving sustainability in the kitchen. Located in Uptown, we work directly with local farmers and ranchers to source the majority of our ingredients to create a seasonal menu. We draw on our teams differences in experience, background, and thought to develop a unique menu that reflects our diverse community.

Sullivan Scrap Kitchen was featured in CBS' Report on Chefs Turning Food Waste Into Trendy Eats, awarded a Head of the Table Award from Bon Appetit in 2021, and won best Hamburger in Denver from Westword 2020 and 2022.

Our Servers deliver engaging customer service and are quick to solve problems. They are passionate about ethical cooking and eating, reducing food waste, and creating a fun casual sustainable dining experience for all guests. Thursday-Saturday 3:30pm-9:30pm
Sunday 3:30-9:00pm

(will include 2 closing shifts)

Start 3/7 (flexible for right candidate)

Duties include:

• Provides an authentically positive and engaging customer experience with enthusiastic, friendly, and courteous service.
• Welcomes customers, answers their questions, and provides advice or recommendations.
• Explaining daily specials to guests.
• Take and serve orders.
• Serves alcohol with care, by checking IDs every time and not over serving guests.
• Confidently operates the register, accurately enters sales through POS, collects payments, and provides receipts.
• Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
• Ensures that their stations are prepped and prepared for service.
• Assists in expediting and packaging items, as needed.
• Assists in bartending.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Cleans prepping area, serving area, and dining area throughout service.
• Follows daily cleaning schedule.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
• Consistently contributes to team goals and ensures others are actively contributing as well.
• Brand ambassador
• Assists other team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
