SalaryAn established local computer repair shop is seeking a candidate that possesses the following attributes:
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of computer skills. The position also requires the candidate to have a positive attitude, be customer service-oriented, and be able to follow through and complete customer requests and support issues. Exemplary work ethic combined with consistent performance, reliability and attendance are top priorities.
Candidates must also be well-organized, have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines. This position requires schedule flexibility to accommodate project deadlines, and urgent issues.
This is an entry level position.
Job Roles
- Operating System Installation and Virus / Malware Removal for both Windows and macOS.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software and network-related problems encountered by our customers on both Windows and macOS platforms.
- Help Desk Support (Remote & Onsite)
- Use Ticketing System to Document Issues
Required Expertise
- MUST have experience maintaining and troubleshooting Mac Operating Systems (Not devices, i.e. iPad, iPhone etc.)
- MUST have experience troubleshooting Common Desktop Applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, QuickBooks)
Beneficial Requirements
- Certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCP preferred.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Valid Driver's License w/ Proof of Insurance.
- Ability to Pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Fluent in the English language.
