Part-Time Accounting Internship 2024

Essential Functions
The Accounting and Audit Departments are searching for 2 candidates to fill a 6 month part-time internship position. The Intern position requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Successful candidates are self-motivated and can manage multiple tasks in a team environment. The interns' essential functions include:
- Support operating groups
- Prepare Balance Sheet Account Analysis Reconciliations
- Assist in the monthly Accounting close
- Prepare accounting process documentation
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations
- Work on special projects as assigned
Compensation
- Hiring Salary Range Posted: $19.50 - $22.50 / hour
- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

- Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, or pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting
- Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart
- Junior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics
- Proficiency with personal computer spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
