Duration: July-December 2024

(Remote options not available, candidates will be required to be onsite in Modesto, CA. 15-20 hours per week)

Essential Functions

The Accounting and Audit Departments are searching for 2 candidates to fill a 6 month part-time internship position. The Intern position requires strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Successful candidates are self-motivated and can manage multiple tasks in a team environment. The interns' essential functions include:

• Support operating groups
• Prepare Balance Sheet Account Analysis Reconciliations
• Assist in the monthly Accounting close
• Prepare accounting process documentation
• Prepare Bank Reconciliations
• Work on special projects as assigned

Compensation

• Hiring Salary Range Posted: $19.50 - $22.50 / hour
• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

• Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics, or pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting
• Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.

• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart

• Junior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics
• Proficiency with personal computer spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
