Part Time Accountant/ Bookeeper

Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper Job Description

Wysong is a fourth generation, family-owned manufacturing company with an excellent reputation in the machine tool industry. We are currently seeking a part-time staff accountant or bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires 10-20 hours per week with flexibility for scheduling between 8:00-5:00pm in the office and will report to the controller.

Responsibilities include:

· Posting transactions and categorizing records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities, and expenses)

· Monthly bank reconciliation

· Monthly credit card reconciliation

· Monthly close reconciliations including fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals

· Processing some AR/AP

Necessary skills and qualifications:

· At least two years in accounting or related field

· Strong analytical, time-management, and task prioritization skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Experience with Great Plains a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
