About The Role:Maintain the high standard of cleanliness that LEGOLAND Florida Resort strives to accomplish.
Make safety the number one priority, maintain park cleanliness, and represent the Grounds department as a Park Ambassador.
Compensation for this opportunity is $12.50/hr.
Main Responsibilities:Sweep and litter pick park walkways as designated and maintain the cleanliness of landscaped areas
Replaces all paper and liquid products in all park restrooms
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated restrooms
Uses liquid and dry detergents and chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing
Works under extreme weather conditions
Must be able to walk an excess of up to 10+ miles a day and in constant motion
Responsible for emptying all trash cans along a designated route and relocating full trash containers to an outside transfer station
May have to clean up body fluid spills from park restrooms and other park locations.
Must be able to work independently from fellow Model Citizens and with little to no supervision
May be required to work early morning, late evenings, holidays, and weekends to support park operation.
Must ensure that World Class Standards are met involving Customer Service and guest interaction
Follows department-established policies and procedures at all times
Maintain safety as the #1 priority
May be requested to assist other departments in promoting a teamwork-driven atmosphere.
About You:
Must be able to work in a very fast-paced, multi-task environment with extreme temperature changes.
Must be able to work in an indoor and outdoor, year-round environment with exposure to various changing weather conditions.
Other Job Requirements:
Must be able to work during peak times, including weekends, holidays, and special occasions, to support company operations. Must be flexible to work shorter or longer hours due to business volume.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long and sustained periods.
Intermittent and prolonged walking to move about the resort site and interact with guests and employees.
Hearing is sufficient to communicate with guests and employees.
