Company DescriptionRCM is partnering with a Fox Valley (far west Chicago suburban) school program seeking paraprofessionals for the 2023-24 school year. Full-time opportunities are available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Paraprofessional will work in a special education classroom 1:1. Students could be Elementary, Junior High or HS aged with a variety of disabilities (cognitively, physically and emotionally), Hearing Impaired, or with involved older students up to age 21 yrs.
- Paraprofessional will work under the direction of the classroom teacher and support academic, social, and emotional learning mostly like 1-1 with assigned student.
- Para may collect and record data, provide academic instruction and support, assist in classroom and individual student (behavior) management and other duties as assigned.
- Paraprofessional must have PEL (Professional Educator License): either a PEL (Para) or a PEL (SUB).
- Prefer paraprofessional with pediatric and or school-based experience.
- Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire.
- Competitive salary and benefits available for those working 30 hrs/wk or more. Medical, dental, vision, and legal services plans available. Short- and long-term disability optional. Life insurance. Sick time accrued. 401k plan.
- Hourly wage starts at $21/hr. Weekly pay.
