Paraprofessional

Job Overview:
Seeking individuals to provide support to those within the IDD/DD population (intellectual and developmental disabilities.) Currently, we are hiring for Part-Time evening and weekend positions starting at $15 per hour. After 90 days pay is increased to $16 per hour based on performance. At the one year mark pay and performance are re-evaluated. Must be 18 or over, have a high school diploma or GED, have a valid driver's license, a clean background check, and driving record as well as being able to lift and/or maneuver over 100 pounds. If you have not lived in the state for more than 5 years, you must also be fingerprinted at the Onslow County Sheriff's Department. Additionally; we are hiring staff for a 24-hour group home with rotating shifts. Must have solid references. If you think you are a fit for this position, please submit your resume. Duties:
- Assist with daily living skills
- Collaborate with other staff to work towards meeting goals.
- Provide one-on-one care within home/community.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all Persons Served.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Care Plans.
- Monitor Person Served progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
- Assist with Personal Care as needed.
- Help create a safe and supportive environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
