Paralegal – Minor’s Compromise

Impact:
As our Paralegal in our Personal Injurydepartment, you will have the opportunity to assist our Attorneys in progressing our wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases.

Daily Tasks:

• Communicate with clients to provide case updates.
• Gather and update pertinent case information.
• Calendar deadlines and court appearances.
• Arrange court calls and client meetings.
• Prepare legal documents for court filing including Complaints, CMC statements, and Minor’s Compromise petitions.
• Work with attorneys to ensure court filing accuracy.
• Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office. 

Your Skills:

• Paralegal certificate preferred, not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
• At least 2 years of experience working in Personal Injury Litigation.
• Experience calendaring deadlines and court appearances required.
• Experience drafting Minor’s Compromise Petitions required.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
• Type at least 40 WPM.
