We are seeking a FT or PT Paralegal/Legal Assistant to provide overall support to the firm's attorney's.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the drafting, reviewing, filing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation and litigation of legal disputes
- Calendar and coordinate legal proceedings and case deadlines
- Record and store client information
- Interact with clients to assist in managing their claims
- Research WC and PI claims issues
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal, Legal Assistant or other legal field
- Understanding of iCourt and calendaring systems
- Familiarity with legal research
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Spanish speaking helpful, but not required
- Familiarity with personal injury and work comp claims preferred
