Position Information Facility Maintenance Worker Number of positions: 1 LOCATION: Minot State University TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, benefitted CLOSING DATE: Open until filled. JOB SUMMARY: This position provides maintenance functions for campus/facilities upkeep. Some duties include be not limited to: Main job will be repair, patch damages walls with sheetrock or compound and painting rooms on campus. Preform minor repairs including door or lock repair, window or door glass replacement, replace or install floor tiles or carpet.

Install or repair desks, counters, shelves, curtains, or blinds. Mowing of grounds to include weed whip, lawn tractor, push mower. Able to prune trees, plant flowers, construct flower gardens, pour concrete, operate equipment to remove snow.

Periodically collect recyclable materials from around campus and bring to warehouse recycle bins on a routine basis. Set-up of the events on and off campus held by Minot State University along with delivering of the folding tables and chairs. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum education required High School Diploma or GED.

Must have a valid driver's license. Experience in using painting tools, yard tools, lawn equipment and able to lift over 50 pounds. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit an online application through MSU's Human Resource Website.
