Position Summary: Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is looking for a full-time Technician to join our IT & Security Department. The successful incumbent is responsible for providing first level support for the Picture Archiving and Communication System, and technical medical imaging interfaces and related technologies. Additionally, provide second level support as a SME for Hospital EMR systems, resolve incidents, or fulfill requests received from the Service Desk or other user issues. The schedule is predominately working Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Skills: Must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, strong customer service, clear and concise communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years past experience working in an IT&S role is required.
- Experience working in a Healthcare setting in a dynamic, fast paced, environment and implementation of complex projects. 2 to 5 years PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems) support experience preferred.
