This position interacts daily with the control system manager and engineers. They will also interact with operations personnel, such as operators, production leaders, operations engineers, and technology team members. Provides periodic reports to management and will interact with peers. This position will maintain contacts with counterparts in other companies within the BASF Group as well as those in other companies via industry organizations.
During your 8-hour day shift as a Pack/Ship Operator, you will…
Be responsible for movement of material in the warehouse.- Load and unload trucks.
- Weigh material.
- Pack material in various packaging types, ensuring that product is appropriately labeled.
- Need to successfully complete all required EHS and quality training, to include forklift driving test.
- Safely lift 50 pounds.
If you have...
2-5 years of related work experience.- Experience working with machinery including valves, conveyers, pumps and blowers.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
