About the Position: This position is located on Fort Detrick and is part of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). The LRC provides professional and timely base operational logistics programs and services that enable readiness support to the Garrison, mission partners, and other installation agencies.

However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) PACKING INSPECTOR~ without more than normal supervision. The work of the position normally includes: inspecting contractor's work during pack, pickup, and delivery of personal items. I can inspect all phases of agent's performance during personal property packing, crating, loading, shipping, unpacking personal items and briefing service members on entitlements. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

- Physical Efforts - Inspection work is frequently performed on land surfaces and in areas that require standing, stooping, bending and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- Work Conditions - Inspection work is performed in a variety of physical and climate conditions including: outdoor areas; residences, warehouse, freight terminals or moving vans without heat or air conditioning and with poor lighting. Some overtime work may be required, especially during the summer peak-load season. Wears protective clothing and equipment as required.
