Job Functions:
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates labelers, conveyors, or presses.
- Inspects product for quality and reports any variance from standard.
- Operates electrical and mechanical controls as necessary to start, stop, and feed product supplies.
- Maintains levels in oil and performs routine lubrication as directed for proper machine operation.
- Keeps machines clean and in good condition.
- Performs minor adjustments and repairs.
- Assists mechanic(s) in major repairs.
- Assists in clearing stoppage of flow of cans in any part of can manufacturing line.
- Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work either 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
- May be required to do other duties related to the job.
- Operates under conditions set forth by Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Observes all Federal, State, Company, and Plant environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations and procedures.
